Joe Anyinsah hails spirited Bristol Rovers

Togetherness is building at Bristol Rovers under manager Mark McGhee, according to striker Joe Anyinsah.

Rovers have enjoyed an upturn in form since the arrival of McGhee, who took over from former boss Paul Buckle at the Memorial Stadium last month.

And Anyinsah believes the emphasis placed on intensity and teamwork by the Scot has helped the players force their way out of the rut they found themselves in halfway through the campaign.

"Everyone gets on really well, from the players to the coaching staff and the medical staff, and the spirit's quite high here at the moment," he said.

"We've got a good way of training and it's quite intense, and the manager has been quite good in that sense.

"Everyone knows their job and that's an important part of the team being together at the moment."
