Though Black Stars center-back Jonathan Mensah was not in action for Evian Thonon Gaillard but he watched from the bench as they pipped Jordan Ayew's Lorient 1-0 in the French Ligue 1 on Wednesday night.Â
While Mensah had to witness the entire duration of the game from the Evian bench, attacker Jordan Ayew played the entire minutes of the game for Lorient.
Mensah continued his bench-warming exploits at Evian after returning to the club after the AFCON 2015 tournament.
He was not involved in Evian's 2-1 win over Metz during the weekend and could not get to play on Wednesday to increase concerns about his form at the club.
