Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has been officially assigned the no.19 jersey at Aston Villa – vacating the no.10 jersey he donned during pre-season.

The Ghana striker has had to abandon the iconic no.10 jersey which is being reserved in the hope of Emmanuel Adebayor’s arrival.

Ayew moved to Aston Villa a fortnight ago from Lorient for a reported amount of €12m.
