West Ham are keen on signing Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew in a move which could see him potentially reunite with his senior brother Andre.

French tabloid Essex Chronicle have reported the Hammers are already attempting to prize away Jordan's brother Andre to Upton Park from Swansea City.

United are hoping to entice the Ghanaian with a mouth-watering offer with Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia tipped to leave this summer.

Ayew has been linked with a return to France with Nice believed to be leading the chase.

But the former Marseille and Lorient attacker has insisted he will stay in England after an explosive debut season in the Premier League last term.

Ayew, who raked in seven goals last season for the relegated Premier League side, is viewed as too good a talent to play in the Championship.

If the move is concretized, he could join join his senior brother, who has been heavily tipped to sign for the Hammers from Swansea City.
