Ghana international Jordan Ayew’s true mettle will be tested as he faces a battle to secure regular first team football with the arrival of Adebayor and the growing interest in Dimitar Berbatov.

Ayew-23-years old arrived from French Ligue 1 side Lorient after a breakthrough season to replace Belgian Christian Benteke who moved to Liverpool.

The Ghanaian whose elder brother is Swansea City’s Andre Ayew will however face a stern test to play week in week out following the arrival of experienced Emmanuel Adebayor and the prospective arrival of former Manchester United  forward Dimitar Berbatov.

Jordan scored 13 goals for Lorient in all competition last season and assisted a further 6 as Lorient finished the league season on 16th position.

The Marseille trainee however has  vast experience having represented Ghana in three different Africa cup of nations competitions and also played in the world cup held Brazil.
