Jordan Ayew rejects Nice move; wants Marseille stay

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has turned down an offer to join French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.

The 20-year-old has chosen to stay at Marseille and help the club return to its former glory next season.

Jordan has decided to stay put at the Stade Velodrome he honed his talent in a bid to gain more experience.

New OGC coach Claude Puel was keen on signing on the promising goal poacher.

AS Saint-Etienne were also reportedly interested in the young striker's services.

Reports claim that both clubs were actually interested in bringing the player on a season long loan.
