Ghana international Jordan Ayew grabbed his 7th goal of the season but his side succumbed to a 3-2 defeat to Watford in the English Premier League.

Villa who have confirmed their demotion were looking to give their fans something to cheer about and Ciaran Clark definitely gave them a dream start with a well taken goal on the 28th minute.

Almen Abdi brought Waford back into it with a well taken free-kick a few seconds to the interval but Jordan Ayew played a lovely one-two with Rudy Gestede before planting the ball beyond Heurelho Gomes in post for Watford.

That was the 7th goal for the Ghana international in his maiden season in the English top flight.

Shortly after that Aly Cissokho was sent off for Villa and Troy Deeney who had lost his fire power in the last few games scored twice in the space of two minutes to condemn Villa to another defeat.

Ayew has been strongly linked with a move away from Villa Park and on this form it is really going to be difficult for Villa to hold on to their prized asset.
