Julien Laurens explains why Jose Mourinho might not be a good fit at PSG, despite reported mutual interest. Alejandro Moreno says Manchester United played like a mid-table side in their scoreless draw at Liverpool.

Jose Mourinho has said theres "nothing happening" regarding a new contract at Manchester United and has played down speculation that he is interested in managing Paris Saint-Germain.

Mourinho gave an interview to Telefoot on Sunday in which he said: "The only thing I will say is that I am still a coach with concerns, with ambitions and with the desire to do new things.

"I am sure that I will not finish my career here [at Manchester United].

"My son, who lives in London, went to Paris to watch a Paris Saint-Germain match instead of Manchester. Why Paris? Because they have something special. Magic, quality and youth. It is fantastic."

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager, who guided Manchester United to second in the Premier League, was reported to be keen to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, with his current deal expiring in 2019.

But speaking in Lisbon ahead of United's Champions League group game against Benfica, he played down reports that he is close to extending his stay at Old Trafford.
