Juventus have agreed a deal with Atletico Madrid for defender Guilherme Siqueira to cast doubt about the future of Kwadwo Asamoah.

The Brazilian is seen as replacement for ageing Frenchman Patrice Evra with increasing doubt about the fitness of the Ghana international.

The signing of the left-back could but all spell the end for the former Udinese man, who is still battling to be fully fit after suffering a career threatening injury last year.

The 26-year-old has endured a bumpy run on the road to recovery and it appears his early pre-season has not really sparked the needed fitness required ahead of a busy season.

He was left out of the squad for their pre-season squad.
