Juventus join chase for Pescara midfielder

Reigning Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly after promising midfielder Pescara Rolando Mandragora.

The 18-year-old Mandragora is currently on loan at the Serie B outfit from Genoa, and has made 11 appearances this season, racking up many impressive performances for the Delfini.

According to reports from Sky Sport Italia, Juventus had sent scouts to watch Mandragora during Pescara’s home clash against Virtus Lanciano, in a game where Pescara emerged as 2-1 winners. It is also thought that Massimiliano Allegri is after Mandragora’s Pescara teammate Gianluca Lapadula, who tops the Serie B goalscoring charts with ten goals.

Mandragora has become a regular part of the Italian Under-21 side and his thanks to impressive showings for both club and country, the teenage sensation has attracted attention from not only Juventus but reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea too.
