Juventus are looking to replace Kwadwo Asamoah with Alexander Kolarov.

The Ghanaian super star will be involved with the Black Stars at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations, meaning he will miss a chunk of Juventus matches between January and February.

Juve coach Antonio Conte has identified the Manchester midfielder as the man to replace the former Udinese ace while on international duty.

Kolarov’s ability to use his left leg and speed are two technical qualities that Conte believes would sprinkle a dust of quality on the Old Ladies of Italian football in both offensive and defensive areas on the left flank.

Asamoah who arrived at Juventus as a left sided midfielder now has an added responsibility as a defender, a role he has embraced well.
