Juventus star finds it hard to see his side below Napoli

Juventus star Paul Pogba confessed he has a hard time accepting the idea that Napoli are top of Serie A, as the Bianconeri get the chance to leapfrog the Partenopei in the Saturday night’s face-to-face at Juventus Stadium.

Following the troubled start to the season, a 14-game winning run brought the Turin outfit back in the Scudetto business, just two points behind the Azzurri. The 22-year-old midfielder has had a primary role in the Old Lady’s renaissance, scoring four of his five current campaign’s goals since their golden months started.

“I never doubted that we would have a great season,” the Frenchman told Sky Sport Italia.

“Napoli are first and are playing amazingly, this is a heavy blow to us.

“We must approach this game as all the others. We’re not used to see other teams upon us, but the final placement is what really counts and we want to win the Scudetto.

“I feel I’m a reference point on the pitch, but I still have to improve.”

Juventus have already lost once to Napoli this season, when Lorenzo Insigne and Gonzalo Higuain sealed a 2-1 victory at Stadio San Paolo back in September.
