Juventus striker on Wolfsburg radar

Published on: 18 January 2016

Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are reportedly considering a move for Juventus striker Simone Zaza.

Zaza, who joined the Bianconeri in the summer, has found regular playing time hard to come by since moving to Turin, sparking speculation that the striker is keen to leave the Juventus Stadium.

According to German newspaper Bild, Wolfsburg have not yet made contact with the 24-year-old but are considering making an approach to the club to see whether or not he is a viable target.

The former Sassuolo striker has started just three times in Serie A for the Old Lady this season, making six appearances as a substitute, in which time he has found the net on three occasions.

Ciro Immobile was the last Italian striker to swap Serie A for the Bundesliga when he joined Borussia Dortmund from Torino in 2014, however, an unsuccessful spell at the club saw him move to Sevilla after just one season before returning to Il Toro earlier this month.
