Chief Executive Officer of Division One side Karela FC, Senator David Cobbinah Brigidi has hinted that his outfit is putting plans in place to ensure that club joins the Ghana top flight league by 2017.

The astute lawyer believes that his outfit has what it takes to get themselves into the Ghana Premier L2ague and that they are currently putting in place plans to ensure that they get into the premiership next season.

Senator Cobbinah whose father is from Ngeria but was born in the Western Region to a Ghanaian mother insists that the talents that are in abundance in the region deserve to have a feel of the Ghana top flight.

He has since pledge to support the club to realise that dream to bring hope and happiness to the folks of the Western Region.

"Our greatest target is to qualify for the premier league in 2017. We know clubs that will qualify for 2016 have already qualified so we are looking at 2017," Senator Cobbinah said in an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com

"We have enormous talents here but they all seem to be wasting. That is why I even came on board to buy Metro Stars and change it to Karela FC. We need to be in the premier league to show what we have. "

The seasoned Chelsea FC ticket holder added that he has come on board to bring tremendous changes in the football management in the region.
