Karela United have smashed Dreams FC's record for most consecutive wins after recording their 9th successive win in Ghana's second-tier league.

The ambitious Ghanaian side have managed wins over Proud United, Bekwai Youth, Dunkwa United, Samartex and Fijai Real United amongst others to set the new winning record.

The Pride and Passion have gone 11 matches unbeaten since their 1-0 defeat to Unistar Academy on Matchday-8.

It's been a remarkable journey for the second-tier side this season so far.

United are creeping closer to qualifying to the Premier League for the first time as they lead zone 2 on 49 points, 10 adrift of second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars.
