By Patrick Akoto Hearts of Oak captain Karim Alhassan has recovered in time for Sunday's league match against Mighty Jets at the Accra Sports Stadium. Alhassan was stretched off during last week's 1-0 defeat to city rivals Liberty Professionals prompting fears he could be sidelined for weeks.

The centre back has started full scale training and should be available for selection in a must win game for the side on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

"I appreciate the work of all the medical experts that contributed to my quick return. They really put in their best to ensure that I get back on time to help my team. I thank them all for the good work and may the good Lord bless them," Alhassan told the Hearts News

Hearts lie 5th on the league table with 15 points.
