Suspended Ghana international midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng was in full-time action for Schalke 04 who went goal crazy as they pelted fifth-tier side TSV 1860 Rosenheim 11-1 in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old who joined the Schalke pre-season training earlier this week, was started by manager Jens Keller and he lasted the entire duration of the match as Nigerian Chinedu Obasi, Max Meyer, Choupo-Moting and Höger all scored to register a record win for Schalke.

During recess, an entirely new squad was introduce by manager Keller but Boateng was maintained as he played the entire 90 minutes of the game.

The former AC Milan star is into his second season with Schalke after joining them from the Serie A giants last season.
