Suspended Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has declared himself fit to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga clash on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old was considered a major doubt for Schalke who host Eintracht Frankfurt at the Veltins Arena after he revealed on Wednesday he played through ankle injury.

But Boateng has claimed he is fit for selection by Schalke 04 manager Jens Keller on Saturday.

"I feel fit and can play again on Saturday," he said.

Boateng was one of Schalke's best performers in their Uefa Champions League clash against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

Schalke are without a win in the three-week-old Bundesliga after losing two and drawing once since the start of the season but their performance against Chelsea in the Uefa Champions League has given them a new spirit to grab their first maximum points.
