Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is enjoying his football after his superb volley for Las Palmas sparked internet craze.

Boateng, 29, scored a fabolous acrobatic goal for the Canary Island side in their 2-1 defeat to Villarreal over the weekend.

And the Ghanaian, who endured a difficult spell at Schalke 04 and AC Milan, is delighted to be enjoying football again.

"I've fallen and I've always raised. I have become stronger. I never thought I could do that," he said

'If at age 29, you run out of contract and you want to play for fun, an environment such as the Canary Island is deal.

"I am really happy here in Las Palmas.

Intricate build up on the edge of the box between Jonathan Viera and Vicente Gomez saw the visitors work the ball well to find a way into the area to Tana, who produced a superb back-heel volley to Boateng, who flung himself in the air and found the bottom corner with a stunning improvised finish.

The well-travelled midfielder - who has played for the likes of Portsmouth, AC Milan and Tottenham - was mobbed by his team-mates after netting his third goal for the club since he joined in the summer.
