Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng joined the party to celebrate TSG Hoffenheim's first-leg victory in the Bundesliga promotion play-offs against Kaiserslautern.

The AC Milan star was at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena to cheer on Sejad Salihovic and personal advisor Roger Wittmann who are both with Hoffenheim.

Hoffenheim hava to save their top-flight status by fighting for the last slot of Kaiserslautern after finishing 16th in last season's campaign and Brazilian Roberto Firmino scored a brace before Sven Schipplock netted to book a 3-1 victory for the Hoffs.

And Boateng, who regularly travel to Sinsheim because of Sejad Salihovic and Roger Wittmann was in the stands to cheer on Hoffenheim.

He expressed his delight after the game.

"The game was fun. I was here for the fourth time. I like Hoffenheim. Because I have rarely met such a nice people like Dietmar Hopp, because my friend Sejad Salihovic plays here and my buddy and advisor Roger Wittmann is always here," he told reporters after the game.

Boateng has been linked with a return to Germany with Bayern Munich mentioned as a likely destination for the enforcer.
