Schalke 04 coach Jens Keller has refused to assure Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng for the club’s No.10 role for the upcoming season.
Boateng had earlier claimed he was signed by the Royal Blues to operate in that position.
But the 2014 disgraced World Cup player faces stiff opposition from brilliant youngster Max Meyer.
Keller said: "We are happy that we have two top players on this position with Kevin-Prince Boateng and Max Meyer. They can also play together. We have three competitions and need more options."
