Kevin-Prince Boateng to start against Napoli

Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng will start for AC Milan against Napoli at the San Siro on Monday night in the Serie A.

The 23-year-old is favourite over Alexander Merkel to play alongside Gennaro Gattuso and Mark van Bommel.

Boateng returned from injury last week was a second half substitute against Chievo but he is preferred ahead of the inexperienced Alexander Merkel.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri has one more training before the match but in Saturday’s training, he fielded the players who are likely to play from the start against the Azzurri.

This will make him available for Ghana for the crucial 2012 Nations Cup qualifier at Congo, Brazzaville and the friendly against England next month.
