Ghana forward Kevin Prince Boateng says Spanish giants Barcelona should sign Chelsea dribbling-wizard Eden Hazard to replace Neymar Dos Santos Junior.

Neymar broke the world player transfer record on Thursday when he sealed a five-year deal to French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint German for a fee of £200 million.

Barcelona are reported to have switched their attention on replacing the Brazilian with Chelsea ace Eden Hazard in the final month of the transfer window.

And Kevin Prince Boateng, who plays for fellow Spanish side Las Palmas, says Barcelona replacing Neymar with the Belgium number 10 wouldn't be a bad idea.

Hazard is currently out injured with a fractured ankle but the Catalans have been linked with the Chelsea star along with Real Madrid.

Neymar has forfeited a bumper loyalty bonus from Barcelona after departing for Paris Saint-Germain in a record-breaking €222 million move ahead of schedule.

The 25-year-old Brazil forward has signed a five-year contract with ambitious Ligue 1 club PSG, becoming the most expensive footballer in history after weeks of speculation.

Neymar, for whom PSG had to pay Barca €222m (£200.6million), will reportedly earn €30m (£27m) net per year, or around €575,000 (£520,000) each week after tax.

However, his father Neymar Santos Sr, who has managed his son's career since his emergence at Santos, will not collect a €26m (£23.4m) loyalty bonus from Barca as its conditions were not met.
