King Faisal General Manager Nana Amankwa Kwakye says the Kumasi-based admits the club need a miracle to survive in the Ghana Premier League.

The Kumasi-based side slipped into the relegation zone after a shock 2-0 home defeat to Liberty Professionals on Wednesday.

"All that I would say is that our opponents' approach to the match resulted in their win. They were more prepared than our players looking at what transpired at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday," he told Dunkwa-On-Offin based Solar FM.

"Our players couldn't play as we know them and it was a game that everything we did never worked in our favour," he lamented.

Asked whether or not King Faisal could realistically survive the scare, the soft-spoken young administrator did not mince words and said only a miracle can save the situation.

"To be very honest with you, this is not a matter of football mathematics, tactics and permutations. We need a miracle to save our season so we would leave everything in the hands of God," he said.

If his will allows us to stay, we would welcome it but if the reverse turns out, of course we would accept that fate and do things right in Division One.”

King Faisal take on in-form Heart of Lions at the Kpando Park in the penultimate fixture.
