King Faisal president Alhaji Karim Grusah has petitioned FIFA stating ‘machinations’ by the Ghana Football Association led to his side relegation from the top-flight last season.

The Kumasi-based side finished third-bottom after a final day 1-1 draw at home with Berekum Chelsea.

Ebusua Dwarfs and Amidaus Professionals were the two others clubs plunged from the 2013-2014 First Capital Plus Premier League campaign.

But the club say they are demoted unfairly.

“I have sent a copy to FIFA for them to have a look at the issues that led to King Faisal being relegated to division one and it must interest you to note that I am burnt on taking this matter to anywhere if I have to go to court I will,” Grusah told Ghanasportsonline.

King Faisal were relegated three seasons ago but returned after just a year.
