King Faisal President Grusah denies attacking Amidaus chief Baba Gado
King Faisal President Alhaji Karim Grusah has denied physically assaulting his colleague president of Amidaus Professionals Baba Gado insisting his opponent only wants to benefit from cheap publicity.
Grusah is being accused of manhandling his host in King Faisal’s thrilling 4-3 win over Amidaus Professionals in the midweek Premier League clash.
Gado claims the screens of his iPhones were smashed a result of the attacks from his host.
But Grusah in a sharp rebuttal says Baba Gado only wants to profit from cheap publicity in order to gain prominence as a President of a football club in Ghana.
“Gado cannot use me for publicity; he only wants to be known,” he told Metro FM.
“I didn’t touch him like he claims and in any case there were security officers there, why didn’t he report me to them?
“Or why didn’t he even report the case to the match commissioner?
“He is the President and Bankroller of a club but he is not known even in Tema where the team is based.
“So he only wants to use to garner publicity so that he comes into the limelight.”
Gado has since threatened to turn in the veteran football administrator to the authorities.
