By Patrick Akoto

King Faisal are hoping to announce Mallam Yahaya’s successor as soon as possible.

The ex-Ghanaian international resigned from the club on Tuesday after citing interference from the management team.

The ex-Borussia Dortmund player took charge of the team following the dismissal of Stephen Abugri.

Abugri guided the team back to the elite division after a just a year in the lower division but was kicked out after a quarrel with club president Alhaji Karim Gruzah.

The Kumasi-based side have now entered the market in search of Yahaya’s successor.
