CK Akunnor has been linked with a shock move to King Faisal
By Patrick Akoto
King Faisal have launched a bold bid to secure CK Akunnor as the club’s senior team coach.
The post has become vacant following the sacking of Stephen Abugri on Monday evening.
The tough-talking trainer was shown the exit door after he clashed with club owner Alhaji Karim Grunzah after their 1-0 home defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.
In a dramatic twist, the Kumasi-based club made a bold play to land Akunnor as their next man.
The 39-year-old is looking for new employers after he was sacked by Hearts following strings of poor performances in the top-flight.
Ex-Ghana international Mallam Yahaya has been appointed in a care-taker role until a substantive coach is appointed .
That will tell whether Hearts management were on right path or not so CK should go to Faisal for some verification.
C K don’t accept this offer. You need a team that will help you redeem your image.
Go CK go. Go there start from the scratch and build your own team the way you want and God will help you.
CK be warned!! Hmmm this is Faisal. You will not last there. Find a good team!
WHO LOVES A BAD LUCK COACH… I SAID IT EARLIER THAT C.K. AKUNNOR IS NOT THE RIGHT MAN FOR HEARTS AND GHANA…. HE SHOULD FIND A BETTER JOB OUTSIDE COACHING
