Ghana forward Andre Ayew sat out most parts of the Black Stars’ training session on Saturday.

The Swansea star sat on the sidelines with a heavy ice-pack strapping on his left knee after taking part in the opening warm up session.

Ayew appears to have picked up a knock in the goalless draw game against Comoros in the 2018 World Cup qualifier played on Friday.

The knock is however thought not to be serious with the 25-year-old sitting out most part of the evening training session as a precautionary measure.

Avram Grant’s side resumed training ahead of the return encounter against Comoros on Saturday evening having arrived back in Accra from Moroni in the morning.

The team will emplane to Kumasi on Sunday morning to complete their preparations for the game to be played on Tuesday.
