Berekum Chelsea’s Kofi Owusu is expected to join TP Mazembe when they arrive in the country on Friday for the Mo Ibrahim Cup.
Owusu, scored 19 goals in the just ended Ghana Premier League to help Chelsea to a 3rd place finish.
One of the directors at Berekum Chelsea Nana Oduro Sarfo confirmed earlier to GHANAsoccernet.com that the player had agreed in principle to join the CAF Champions League champions winners and should join them when they arrive in the country on Thursday.
"What i can tell you that the player has agreed to join Mazembe and Berekum Chelsea has also agreed to sell him," Nana Oduro Sarfo said
"He should join them as soon as possible and that could be when they arrive for the Mo Ibrahim Cup."
Mazembe has five Ghanaians already in their ranks with two from Berekum Chelsea already.
