Asante Kotoko spokesman Kweku Ahenkorah insists the team is poised to return to winning ways following their crashing defeat suffered against Berekum Chelsea.

The champions suffered their worst home defeat of the season with a 3-0 loss to the visiting Blues.

The defeat sees Kotoko slide further down the Premier League log with eight matches left.

But the club's spokesman Kweku Ahenkorah says there is no point hurting over the defeat in perpetuity with tougher games to come.

"It is increasingly getting difficult for us and the results have not been good,"he said.

"But we cannot continue to ponder over what could have been but rather focus on the games ahead.

"The season has not panned out well so far but we still have an FA Cup final to play.

"Therefore we need to dust ourselves from this Chelsea defeat and forge ahead."
