Asante Kotoko assistant coach Michael Osei is at German Bundesliga II side FSV Frankfurt for for a refresher programme.
Osei is expected to spend three weeks before returning to Kotoko, where his future is in doubt, for pre-season training ahead of the 2015/16 season.
With reports that former Bayern Munich star Sammy Kuffour will be appointed chairman of the club, Osei could be replaced.
Osei worked with Mas-Ud Dramani for two seasons before the latter was sacked early last season and was replaced by David Duncan.
He has previously worked as deputy coach of New Edubiase and won the MTN FA Cup with the Bekwai-based side in 2012.
