Asante Kotoko assistant trainer Michael Osei has insisted his side will not buckle under pressure as they face Medeama SC at the Tarkwa T&A Park in the Ghanaian Premier League on Sunday.

The title-holders, who are placed 8th, have travelled to Tarkwa and will face 7th placed Medeama SC at their favourite T & A Park.

The two teams are tied on points and the tie is expected to be a crunching mid-table.

The Porcupines seek to remain on the winning path having won last week’s match, despite losing three of their last five.

Kotoko assistant coach Osei has enumerated the importance of the game for his side.

"Medeama won't be an easy team for us but we know the importance of the game. We've prepared well for it," he told Accra-based Oman FM.

Kotoko slipped to a shootout defeat to rivals Hearts of Oak in the 2015 President Cup on Wednesday and will be hoping to recover well from the loss.
