Kotoko will continue their build up to the upcoming season with a friendly against a non-League side on Sunday.

The Ghanaian champions will battle a Koforidua select side at the Koforidua stadium before they move to their residential camping at Winneba.

The match forms part of plans by the club to give their supporters in the Eastern Region a fair idea of how they will perform this season.

Fans in the region have been deprived of top flight action over the past few years following the demotion of Maxbees, Power FC and Okwahu United.

Players drawn from the first and second divisions will pitch their strength against the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko beat Swedru All Black 2-0 before drawing 1-1 against third-tier side Kotokuman Academy all in a bid to put the team in shape ahead of their title defence.

A number of their high-profile signings will also feature in the game.
