Asante Kotoko board member Alhaji Abu Lamine has volunteered to pay the salaries of new assistant coach Yusif Abubakar.

The Tema-based philanthropist is in full praise of management's decision to sign the former Berekum Chelsea nals trainer to assist Maxwell Konadu on the bench.

Abubakar has previously guided defunct Gamba All Blacks and Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.

Allhaji Lamine has lauded the idea to employ an experienced trainer of his caliber and says he is ready to foot his bills.

"I have done it before. It's no huge money. I was doing it when I was outside the mainstream administration of Kotoko how much more when I am in it. I will take it up," Lamine told Angel FM.
