Asante Kotoko Deputy Communications chief Alhaji Ali Maradona has tipped Aduana Stars to win the upcoming Ghana Premier League.

The long-serving Kotoko communication member who played down talks that the reds were favourites for the league says the Dormaa-based side has positioned themselves well to lift the league trophy.

“If you want a team that will be able to win this season’s league, then look at Aduana Stars. They have the materials and are heavily motivated to win the title.”

“They have made very good signings and have a very good management that listens to the players and motivate them very well.

When we played them in the G6 finals, I noticed that they have a target of winning the league and if they succeed, I will not be surprised,” Ali Maradona told GHANAsoccernet.com

The Ogya Boys have strengthened their set up by bringing on board experienced players like Yaya Moahammed, Joseph Addo, Richard Mpong, Noah Martey and former WAFA captain Zakaria Mumuni.

Reports also indicate that their winning bonus ahead of the season will be increased as the season looks set for a thunderous kickoff.
