Asante Kotoko General Manager Samuel Opoku Nti has tipped his side to finish the 2014/15 First Capital Plus Premier League with a top four spot.
The ex-national star, also known in football circles as "the Lord of the green turf" told Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm's Bright Kankam Boadu on a mid-morning Sports programme dubbed "Power Sports".
"I can confidently tell you that from the way the team has jelled in recent outings, Kotoko would finish in the top four", he said.
In a related development, the Administrative gaffer debunked claims in some sections of the social media that he had called a top brass within the Hearts of Oak hierarchy urging him to drop the protest filed against the Porcupines as regards the eligibility of midfielder Obed Owusu in the Week 25 League fixture involving the two powerhouses at the Accra Sports Stadium questioning the credibility and integrity of the perpetrators of such stories.
