Kotoko to clinch Premier League title

Kotoko will clinch a historic third successive Ghanaian Premier League title if they beat All Stars on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors lead second-placed Heart of Lions by 10 points with only four games to spare.

The Kumasi-based side will thus clinch a historic third successive title if they managed to negotiate their tie against All Stars at the Tamale stadium.

Anything short of victory will put their Premier League success on hold at least for a number of days.

Kotoko have blown hot and cold in the latter stages of the campaign and will hope for a favourable result against Stars away from home – which will eventually seal the icing on the cake.

Coach Mas-ud Dramani has been hugely credited for helping the side become dominant on the local scene.

Many have tipped them to continue to dominate for many years to come as they seem to attract the top players in the West African country.
