Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has hailed his team’s strong recovery since their disappointing exit from the CAF Champions League.

The Ghanaian champions suffered early elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Liberian club Barrack Young Controllers.

Kotoko have since the disappointing blow, responded with two successive wins in the Ghanaian top flight.

And coach Dramani though admitting to the tough mental stress in recent times has hailed his players for the resounding recovery.

“The player mentality has been good after our elimination from the Champions League,” he told Metro FM.

“It is a really a set back and when such situations happen you have to do a whole lot of psyching up to be able to get them back to winning ways.

“More especially this being our first game after our elimination at home and you can expect that the crowd expectation will be very high and the boys will be under pressure.

“But we had done a lot of talking here and there for the boys to concentrate as professionals.

“I think it is a very good mark because once Africa has not been good for us we had to turn our focus on the domestic front.”

Kotoko have stretched their lead at the top of the Ghanaian League to ten points ahead of their Week 18 fixture on Wednesday.
