Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani is unperturbed about the exit of his key players ahead of the start of the new season.
The Porcupine Warriors will be without striking duo Abdul Aziz Yusif and Seidu Bancey as well as captain Michael Akuffo who have signed for Egyptian and Libyan sides respectively.
There are fears the exit of such experienced players could dent their title ambitions this season.
But the former Ghana female Under-20 coach feels otherwise.
“Players come and go but Kotoko will remain resolute. It was difficult to keep them because we do not have the money to do so,” he said
“That is part of the game. Kofi Nti Boakye left and somebody stepped onto the plate.
“It’s the same situation. It will give others the opportunity to come to the party.
“As far as I’m concerned, there is no cause for alarm at all. We are still very much focused and determined to win more laurels for the side.”
Kotoko have brought in Ghana Under-20 goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi and Medeama striker Richard Oti.
The club has also been linked with New Edubiase playmaker Asiedu Atobrah as well as Medeama trio Godbless Asamoah, Godfred Rockson and Joseph Gordon.
