Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has welcomed Herbert Addo upon his appointment as Hearts of Oak coach and looking forward to battling it out with him next season.

Addo was unveiled on Wednesday and tasked to end the club’s five-year trophy drought, which will mean toppling champions and arch-rivals Kotoko.

He last won the title in 2010 when he guided debutants Aduana Stars to conquer both Hearts and Kotoko.

Dramani, who has led the Porcupine Warriors to win the last two Ghana Premier League titles, says Addo’s credentials will make the competition for the title keener.

“Herbert is an experienced man with a good track record that speaks well for him,” Dramani told GHANASoccernet.com

“I really wish him well and look forward to facing him.

“We at Kotoko have our objectives and that doesn’t change no matter what so as for targets it’s the same as it was before.”

Dramani is in his third season at the club and faces an arduous task of defending the league and cup double.
