Kotoko coach takes goalless draw against Hearts in good faith

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has accepted the 0-0 draw result against Hearts of Oak though rueing several missed opportunities.

The champions failed to translate their superior ball possession and goal scoring opportunities into goals against an under-par Hearts side on Sunday.

The goalless draw game left many of the Kotoko supporters bitterly disappointed with the missed opportunity to get one over their arch rivals who have been hit with several problems in recent times.

But coach Dramani refuses to play down the result – saying it was a difficult game though feeling hard done by the missed goalscoring opportunities.

“Matches involving Hearts of Oak and Kotoko have always been difficult games,” he said.

“In terms of tactics I think it was a good game only we failed to convert some chances.

“But on a whole I think it was a good game and I think the result is okay.”

The result now sees Kotoko rise one place to 6th after remaining unbeaten after six rounds of matches in the Ghanaian top flight.
