Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has urged his players to focus on dismantling struggling Wassaman United.

The league leaders tackle the debutants at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday and need a win to hold onto top spot.

Champions Berekum Chelsea are snapping at their heels with just one point behind in second place on the league table.

Kotoko are yet to suffer defeat in the league after stringing four wins and three draws in seven matches.

Konadu does not want his troops to underrate the under-performing side at home.

"It's important we put our eyes on the ball and not be distracted by any side and that include Wassaman who we play next at home," he said.

"They may not be doing well at the moment but its teams that can spoil the party and so you don’t want to think you’ll walk over them easily."

Wassaman are involved in the relegation dog-fight after picking only four points from their last seven games.
