Asante Kotoko defender Abeiku Ainooson says poor officiating was the reason why his side were unable to pick up three points against New Edubiase.

Aminu Dramani scored an 88th minute beauty to deny David Duncan’s men their first victory in their last three games after Jordan Opoku cancelled out a Bernard Ofori strike and Emmanuel Asante adding another to give the champions a 2-1 advantage.

Ainooson who played the entire duration of the frustrating game has blamed referee Agbovi for their dropped points.

“It’s very painful to drop points I must say but I think the officiating was bad,” Ainooson told Citi FM

‘”I feel we were unfortunate but sometimes it hurts to see such officiating.”

Ainooson comments add up to complains put up by Coach David Duncan who claimed referee on the day Agbovi had an off day in the office.
