Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have confirmed Alex Asamoah and Aziz Ansah will be out for two to three weeks due to injuries.

The duo suffered hamstring strains during the side’s 2-0 defeat at champions Aduana Stars last Sunday and is now set for the treatment room.

Team doctors have given a time bound of three weeks for Striker Asamoah to return to light training while defender Ansah will return to full scale training a week earlier.

The loss of the two players is a big blow for new coach Bogdan Korak who was keen on using them for their Premier League clash with New Edubiase on Sunday.

Kotoko have lost three times in a row and there is a growing tension among the fans ahead of their next game.
