Asante Kotoko acting chief executive Opoku Nti has expressed frustration at the lack of co-operation from their CAF Champions League opponents Barrack Young Controllers.

The Ghanaian champion will host the Liberian side on the weekend of 7-9 February in the first leg of their two-legged tie.

But they are yet to receive any information on the arrival date of their guests.

“They are frustrating us. We have written to them through the FA but are yet to receive any feedback from them,” Nti told GHANASoccernet.com

“We are making all effort to ensure that we book their tickets ahead of time if you do that you are guaranteed a discount but they just seem not to be interested in communicating with us.

“It’s our duty to ensure they are welcomed here but it’s difficult if the other party is not co-operating.’

Kotoko were eliminated at the penultimate qualifying round in last year’s competition by Algerian side JSM Bejaia.
