Asante Kotoko General Manager Opoku Nti has lauded the performance of his side in the first round of the Ghana Premier League, insisting they will still win the league.
Before the commencement of the GPL, the General Manager who likened the play of the Porcupine Warriors to Barcelona said his side was in for the title.
After fifteen matches with the Oseikrom Boys lying 3rd on the 16-club league table, the ‘Lord of the Green Turf’ insists his side will still win the league.
“I still stand by what I said. We shall win the league,” Opoku Nti said.
“If you take into consideration the position of the club after five matches and our position now, you should understand we are set for the title,” he added.
Kotoko were 16th on the league after five matches but have managed to improve their performance, climbing up to 3rd on the league log.
