Kotoko friendly against New Edubiase on Wednesday has been cancelled, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm
The Porcupine Warriors were billed to play Edubiase at Bekwai in honour of the chief of Bekwai Nana Kakari Apau who is celebrating his 15th anniversary on the throne.
But the club has pulled the plugs on the friendly after the chief failed to pay their appearance fee.
The Ghanaian champions are looking at other alternatives as they grapple with the delay in the start of the Premier League.
