Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi has absorbed head coach David Duncan of any blame for their flagging displays in the league.

Duncan, who took charge three months ago after Mas-Ud Dramani was sacked, has failed to improve their stock.

The defending champions suffered their third defeat in four matches on Sunday in the 3-1 reverse at Liberty Professionals.

The gaffer has been fingered in the team’s downward spiral but Antwi says Duncan is not the problem.

“We have a strong team but we keep losing. I do not know what is wrong with Kotoko,” Antwi told the Ghana News Agency.

“But you cannot blame the coach because he is doing his best to help but it is simply not working.”

Kotoko are ninth on the log with 25 points after 19 matches.
