Asante Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey has dedicated their historic double feat to the loyal supporters of the club.

The Porcupine Warriors clinched the FA Cup title at the depth after a late strike from Bancey at the depth of the second half of extra time against Inter Allies on Sunday.

The win at the Accra Sports Stadium marked the unprecedented double feat in the history of Kotoko following the successful defence of their Premier League crown.

Bancey who was handed the captain’s armband and delivered the trophy with his ate strike says the team was motivated to make history for the fans.

“The bigger thanks goes to our fans, we won it for them,” he told Metro FM.

“When the going got tough, they stayed behind us and we couldn't disappoint.”
